working hard and hardly working

Hopefully, fingers crossed, I can go in to school tomorrow...sad, but true. You know how I feel. Anyways, I am in the midst of creating a mini focus wall for reading street to go on the side of my desk facing our meeting rug! I just wanna post the book (I'm using pictures of the covers so I can transfer them to my genre "board" (ok-it's on cabinets...), the skills and strategies we are covering, and the genre. I did sneak past the workers putting in new tile to throw some stuff in my room…wanna see it…ekk! I am having a breakdown thinking about arranging, and rearranging, and arranging, etc

what do you do when you can’t get into school?

Vistaprint and teacher store shop of course! I have been quite spastic creating and recreating over the past few days and made a lucrative (for the store at least) trip to the closest teacher store today as well. I picked up some adorable goodies, none of which I went for. Let’s see…5 packs of bb letters-all from Frog Street Press except Seuss, 2 packs of border, 2 amazing blank chartlets, blank clocks to post important times for the kids like lunch and recess, and adorable big alphabet letters…
I also made 2 orders on Vistaprint today-free uploads. I’ve been wanting to make some posters and banners from all the a-ma-zing subway art and photos I’ve been pinning on Pinterest and finally did it. Check them out…

Opps! I did it again

Sometimes I get a little ahead of myself. What I mean is I get excited and act impulsively. This is evident in my buyer’s remorse I feel almost daily after trips to Target and Dollar Tree! Here’s my latest example. Darn that Vistaprint and their freebie items…I just get going and can’t slow down!

Of course, a little white-out can fix this one and no one at school even knows their room number so I think I will survive. Sadly, I clicked that darn little YES I SWEAR I looked and checked this document….oh well!

On a happier note, my brochures are again impeccable! This is definitely worth the upload fee and every now and again you get free uploads. And this lawn sign will be awesome hanging over the guided reading area!

Latest Vistaprint order

Finally got some free offers from Vistaprint. I think they've been holding out on me! I am really thinking ahead this year! I ordered stuff for chickies hatching and Poetry Cafe all happening in the springtime. Here's a few of my favorite things. And here's a whole webpage devoted to my creations!
