five for friday (and a sale)

It's time to do some spring cleaning!
I'm joining a slew of fabulous bloggers to clean out my wishlist! Don't forget about leaving feedback to earn those credits! All my products are 20% off til Monday!
And here's my five from the week! It's been pretty super!

it was NOT this little Lamb's birthday...I think the picture speaks for itself!

Loved this activity from Linda Kamp! I really think they will remember the shape names and attributes better! and the bulletin board rocks!

We made the classic 3D shapes with toothpicks

We held student-led conferences on Tuesday night. I will post more over the weekend! But in the meantime, I used Melissa's editable pack from tpt this year!

One of my students used every one of her rainbow loom bands and made a "necklace" that literally held every kid. Here they are walking around the room during recess! It stretched clear across the room!

K-5 Learning {an online tool} and a sale!

Just popping in to share a new site (at least new to me!) called K-5 Learning! I know I am always looking for something engaging for my lab time!

they also have a free trial I urge you to check out!

I am also having a little sale this weekend! Spring Cleaning time!

K5 Learning has an online reading and math program for kindergarten to grade 5 students. I've been given a 6 week free trial to test and write a review of their program. If you are a blogger, you may want to check out their open invitation to write an online learning review of their program.

five for friday and giveaway winner!

I'll be fast and furious today! I have a talent show to prep for...insert pain in stomach here!
Not a bad week for this teacher! We finished up weather and will be starting sound next week! That's the hardest unit to teach! Ugh! Luckily I have this little baby up my sleeve! And I'm guessing it's tough for others too because this has become one of my top sellers!

It definitely makes my life a little easier!
I love weather and I tried out a new snack this week to finish out the unit. Cause food makes learning permanent, right!? haha!

and I just got this posted a few days ago! I used several of the passages to intro some new concepts before experimenting with them! And the notebooking templates were a perfect assessment!

I used a writing template from Mrs. Cupcake's Whimsical Weather unit and a story frame from Traci Claussen's Fabulous Weather unit to make these! They write about what they would like it to rain and drew it in the clouds! I love how they turned out! We also made the cloud recipe with our snack! I'm still working on poufing those chef hats though!
I got two beautiful packages in the mail! I got my mystery box from Katie! and a little melonheadz addicts surprise from Nikki! Love them!

and if you don't follow me on Instagram @tattooedteacherblog ...then you may not know I'm a new-ish aunt! yay!
well, that obviously calls for a new Alex and Ani bangle! Thanks for having a baby sis!
happy friday! and I also need to announce the winner of my giveaway! I love reading your comments and I really read each and every one of them! Comments are few and far between on blogs these days with instagram and facebook, so I love them!

and you still have a few hours to squeeze in some shopping!

it's like Free TpT money!!

Don't forget to leave feedback for your purchases to earn tpt credits! When I buy clip art-I leave it immediately! (because I know it's good!) And I leave product feedback as soon as I have read and gone through the whole product. It really adds up!
You get one TpT Credit for every $1 you spend on TpT. Thing is, you only get the Credits after you Provide Feedback -- both a fair rating and a fair comment -- on the items that you purchase. We will round up for you, too! If you provide fair feedback on a $4.75 item, you will earn 5 credits. Every 100 Credits is worth $5 that you can apply towards future TpT purchases, but there is no need to wait until you have 100 to redeem them. 50 credits is worth $2.50, for example.
I just noticed I've purchased 375 items on the site! FYI-that's pre-sale! That's a lot of credit I've earned (and spent!)

Here's some of my favorite things from my shop...
#1. Anything SCIENCE!
We will be starting our last unit of the year, Good Vibrations, next week! Cannot wait to break out the tuning forks! Who knew science could be so fun!

#2 Word Sort Activities for any spelling list or program!

#3 My Iditarod Unit
It's an amazing learning experience-and this is not full of fluff! Every activity I have completed with 4th and 2nd grade! and I must say it's pretty awesome!
So go get your shop on!
and don't forget to link up your store on Blog Hoppin' and hop back on over on March 1st to show us what you bought!

a little black friday fun

Winter Holidays BUNDLE {powerpoints and booklet} at half price!
Winter Holidays booklet
Winter Holidays powerpoints
and Holiday Daze Centers

best and most linky! High School style and the sale!

I'll admit, I loved high school! I had a blast...probably a little too much, but it all worked out!
I am linking up with awesomely amazing Christina today to share my Best and Most senior superlatives style!

So my teacher's pet are my Common Core displays! I love throwing these into my pocket chart and not having to think! Of course the 2nd grade ones are my pet, but I have 2-4th grade! And I have full size, pocket chart size, I can kid friendly statements, and statements taken directly from CCS. So there is something for everybody! You can see mine displayed in this tree pocket chart {from Oriental Trading} here! The ones I personally use are these...the half page size in kid-friendly language

Most likely to help my students succeed: that'd be my word sorts! These don't have word lists {we use words their way} but I explain what each type of sort is, have anchor charts, and center cards. This is a great file for those who are new to sorts and need a little more help implementing or even that veteran word sorter who likes things ready to go! {like me}

and best couple...that's my brand new comprehension bundle plus my favorite text features booklet! I have a weird obsession with text features...that's something you don't hear everyday! I love teaching them! Probably because I am obsessed with DK books and Kids Discover magazine! I have my own subscription! I love reading all over the place...pretty much like my ADD train of thought! And each file in this bundle is not only super helpful and chock full of lessons, anchor charts, and worksheets; I am also quite in love with the way they look! And that's important too!

So there you have it! My best and most! And each one of these, along with everything else in my shop is 20% off thru Monday! I tacked on an extra day to the end, but if you want the extra 10%, go shop now and use the checkout code BTS13!
