how I survive the first week of school

I am not ashamed to tell you every.single.thing I do the first week of school someone else made! I think it's hectic enough to just leave my house on time, let alone recreate the wheel!
So here's how I survive!
This is the second year I have used Amy's math plans! Obviously you put your own spin on it and add things specific to my classroom and district requirements. But it is nice to see how she took her file and laid it out for me!

The last thing I want to think about ANY time of the year is morning work! This is my second year using Second Story Window's Morning Work. It is phenomenal! I also have the fluency homework, common core homework, and morning messages!
I love Heidi and Emily!

Oh, and not to mention I own each and every one of these packs! I use a hodgepodge of crafts and activities. I change each year depending on what we get through each day!

And certainly do not be fooled! We do not get to half of this! Here's my proof!

  2. Great minds think alike! I used Amy's lessons and use the Common Core Homework (we do something different for morning work).

  3. I realize this post is a few months ago, but I just came across it. Thanks for giving our TPT shop a little shout out. I'm so, so glad you like the Morning Work. It's saved my bacon a few times and it just tickles me when I learn that other teachers find it useful, too. Good luck during these long winter days. Halfway to summer break, right?!
