sunday smorgasbord

I do so miss sharing all my randomness on five for friday, and I am so thankful for michelle's sunday linky! So here's a few things I have been dying to show you!

I was able to work in my classroom each morning this week. Here's my routine: take stuff out, work on one thing, move to another thing, not finish either, leave a mess and return again tomorrow. I am not the only teacher who does this, am I?
But while I was there, Little Lamb had some fun of his own! He posed each Skylander and took its picture! I have so many random pictures in my photo stream!

Since we have moved, it takes awhile to get our address changed with all the companies. Thursday I was happily surprised with three weeks of US Weekly! I've got lots of news to catch up on!

I was lucky enough to snag my very own paper pack from Ashley Hughes! Love it! It has been difficult to match my Dots on Turquoise and boy did she deliver!!

I have had a major addiction to the Wizard of Oz since I was a wee thing. Biggest Lamb and I had to make a trip to Game Stop this week and as I walked by Hallmark, I saw a big Oz display in the window. $80 later, I had it all {well almost}. The teapot is a random TJ Maxx clearance score and the framed quote is from Hallmark. I also got a new teacher bag, because let's face it, I need a new one about every 3 months! After I posted this on Instagram, sweet @elledee told me about some new Oz goods at Michaels. I went this morning!

Off to see the Wizard! ok, I'm checking tickets to see the wizard...eek!

  1. I'm so bad about not finishing anything! It's hard to find the motivation sometimes. LOVE Wizard of Oz!

  2. I do the same thing as you when it comes to getting work done. My classroom always tends to be full of piles when I start working for the year!

My little ones are obsessed with all things Wizard of Oz too. They would love the masks!!

  3. I will be starting the classroom organization process this week to prepare for back to school! I tend to do the same thing...pull things out and don't put them back!! It gets real messy real fast. Enjoyed your post! Have you seen Wicked yet? It's amazing!!

  4. I'm guilty of the same thing. :( I ran out of my room last week in a rush and left a mess. Oh well, at least I know what my day holds tomorrow when I run back in with the same rush. :)

  5. LOL you made me laugh out loud for real! I am the same way with starting things, moving to other things, and getting NOTHING accomplished. I used to think it was Adult ADD... but maybe now I can think it's just a teacher thing?? :)

  6. I just wanted you to know that your Wizard of Oz "Teaching Character Education with Oz" was the inspiration I needed to create my new unit. I am working on a beginning of the year unit on teaching character in the classroom with and without iPads. I saw your posters and fell in love! I love the Wizard of Oz myself! If it is alright with you I have added a link to your product within my product in case someone wants to purchase them! I would love to send it to you when I'm finished!
