Hey, it’s what the song says. You can’t argue!
This Saturday I went to my first blogger meet-up! I drove 2 hours to Columbia to meet up with some wonderful girls, talk blogging, kids, TpT, and everything in between. I met blogging celebrities and some bloggers I’d never heard of. If you’ve not attended a meet-up yet, DO IT! It’s a riot talking to someone whose words you read daily-but have never actually spoken to!
And thank you so much to Rebecca for getting all the names and blogs matched for me!
In attendance {make sure you follow their blogs for fabulous ideas--no matter what grade it is!}:
from left to right- sort of!
Autumn, Ashley, and Tammy from Fanatical in First Grade
Kim (starting her blog soon, right Kim?!?)
Ginger from Gingersnaps Treats for Teachers
Elizabeth from Fun in 4B
Gretchen from Always a Lesson
Hope from 2nd Grade Shenanigans
Dana from 3rd Grade Gridiron
Shasta from The Loop
Heather and Juli from Simple In Second
Amanda from Teaching Maddeness
Amber from Adventures of a Third Grade Teacher
Rachel from The Tattooed Teacher
Elisabeth from Twins, Teaching and Tacos
Rebecca from Landing in K
Natalie from Teachery Tidbits
Lacie from Polka Dots & Pencils
Now, go blog stalk!
A huge thanks to Hope for setting it all up. The restaurant was great {mimosas also help!} And a huge hug to Shasta, Ginger, and Lacie for dragging me around Columbia with them! It is fun to enjoy drinks, cupcakes, drinks, seafood, drinks, and chocolate covered Pringles with some fun girls!!
on a more serious note. I just donated to Tiffany’s Fund. Have you? She’s a friend of The Bubbly Blonde and even if you do not need ALL the items, you could help out a young momma who has just been diagnosed with cancer. You get tons of files donated by amazing teachers! You get a smile in your heart too!
and. I’m getting ready for Constitution Day tomorrow! So far on the to-do list…NOT reciting the preamble like I had to do in school!
Check out Scholastic’s page
Lesson Plan SOS family constitution project
this fun little game I found online to learn about the convention
and looking for a copy of We the Kids…
Happy Sunday!
