the reaper and 500 and a new name

Halloween night-neighbor has awesome setup with smoke, sounds effects, you name it on the front porch. Little ones are scared to ring bell.
Thanksgiving Day-Grim Reaper is still on the front porch. I shudder a little and make a snide remark to my hubs as we pull out of driveway for lunch at his mom’s. {shudder that someone still has decorations out from Halloween, not about going to my mother in law’s. She's awesome!}
Christmas morning-a feeling of nausea sweeps over me as we pull out of the driveway and the reaper still stares at me…I roll my eyes
present day-I can’t take it. I snap a picture as I get the mail to prove to everyone {ok, peeps who read this blog} that the reaper has been mopping the floors at the neighbors seeing as how a mop is propped up there now too.

I shall digress. Notice the new look? or are you reading this in feedler or reader like I do!! I wanted a blog name more about me and just in case Room 205 isn’t mine one day. We move a lot at our school! and I adore the look of the broken up chevron! Alicia @ Dreamlike Magic rocks! She had it installed and all my gadgets changed over before I even responded! and do you see that signature! swoon!

AND 500…five hundred followers!!! okay 498, but that’s close! I know many of you have thousands, and that’s awesome! But I’m amazed 500 people even pretend to read my blog! Yippee!! And, it’s my blog’s birthday! One year old! And to celebrate you ask? A giveaway of course!
