Go’in to a garden party lott-in-dah-dah-dah, lot-in-dah-dah-dah

Well, if last Friday wasn’t late enough to celebrate Mother’s Day, then I don’t know what is!
But with field day the previous Friday, it’s just how the cookie crumbled

You may remember me mentioning we were renovating my mom’s school garden outside my current classroom window {cool huh?}. I must say it looks great! The kiddos LOVED doing all the work! and that’s the way I like it! One parent remarked their kid never works like that at home when asked to help in the yard!

here are some BEFORE pictures

me and my mommy-can you tell!?

I love.love the nameplates and invites the kiddos made for mom. They are a freebie on TpT right now! You can always download for next May! We served up sweet tea and cookies. I think cucumber sandwiches would've just made it! Always next year! The kids shared their poetry ipods {from Hope King}, Mother’s Day portraits hung all over, and the door and bulletin board honored mom too! I’ll share the all a flutter sign tomorrow! Saved at school. The magazine butterflies are so simple, yet perfect for spring!

Only 14 more days! Quails hatch in a few, so that’ll keep it fun this week!

Don't forget to link up at my Pinterest linky party! I can’t wait to see more pins!

  2. What a fantastic idea. We have some shabby looking areas around our school as of late that could use a little pick-me-up :) Glad I found you.
