I just spent the entire day making a huge mess in my classroom. I am so overwhelmed, I came home and told Mr. Lamb I need the kiddos outside for one hour and I was going to work upstairs! I swear I can get my frustrations out while creating fun stuff my room!

currently and a big thanks to 3am Teacher!

it's a new month and a new currently
link up with Farley to share all you're thinking, needing, and wanting!

it's pretty straightforward this month
I'm loving Spring Break...finally!
but I'd really love a trip to the beach!
It's been EIGHT years since we went as a family!
catching up on the Walking Dead with my oldest
we just started Season 2!
If I do not sell my house soon, I'm donating it or something!
Is it me or do people expect you to give your home away these days?!
and my advice to sellers and bloggers that I learned through all this-if you do not use it, just don;t make it!
The hardest thing for me is seeing all the top sellers and thinking,
gosh why didn't I think of that?
But you cannot cover all bases and you shouldn't try.
your products will be shoddy and lack your expertise!
I love teaching science!
My best sellers are my science units...make sense?
If your products should reflect you and your teaching style while still being "generic" enough for others to use, too! (that's also a hard lesson!)

and I want to give a bog shout out to Michelle aka The 3am Teacher!
I asked her to add some borders around my posts and comments, and ta-da!
SHe had it done in less than 24 hours!
Thanks!!
If you need a little blog facelift, check out Michelle!
and I had to share my new wallpaper from Sassy Designs!

Hey, it’s what the song says. You can’t argue!

This Saturday I went to my first blogger meet-up! I drove 2 hours to Columbia to meet up with some wonderful girls, talk blogging, kids, TpT, and everything in between. I met blogging celebrities and some bloggers I’d never heard of. If you’ve not attended a meet-up yet, DO IT! It’s a riot talking to someone whose words you read daily-but have never actually spoken to!

And thank you so much to Rebecca for getting all the names and blogs matched for me!

In attendance {make sure you follow their blogs for fabulous ideas--no matter what grade it is!}:

from left to right- sort of!

Autumn, Ashley, and Tammy from Fanatical in First Grade
Kim (starting her blog soon, right Kim?!?)
Ginger from Gingersnaps Treats for Teachers
Elizabeth from Fun in 4B
Gretchen from Always a Lesson
Hope from 2nd Grade Shenanigans
Dana from 3rd Grade Gridiron
Shasta from The Loop
Heather and Juli from Simple In Second
Amanda from Teaching Maddeness
Amber from Adventures of a Third Grade Teacher
Rachel from The Tattooed Teacher
Elisabeth from Twins, Teaching and Tacos
Rebecca from Landing in K
Natalie from Teachery Tidbits
Lacie from Polka Dots & Pencils

Now, go blog stalk!

A huge thanks to Hope for setting it all up. The restaurant was great {mimosas also help!} And a huge hug to Shasta, Ginger, and Lacie for dragging me around Columbia with them! It is fun to enjoy drinks, cupcakes, drinks, seafood, drinks, and chocolate covered Pringles with some fun girls!!

on a more serious note. I just donated to Tiffany’s Fund. Have you? She’s a friend of The Bubbly Blonde and even if you do not need ALL the items, you could help out a young momma who has just been diagnosed with cancer. You get tons of files donated by amazing teachers! You get a smile in your heart too!

and. I’m getting ready for Constitution Day tomorrow! So far on the to-do list…NOT reciting the preamble like I had to do in school!

Check out Scholastic’s page

Happy Sunday!

3am Break-in!

I stumbled upon a great linky party offering advice for baby bloggers. I thought that was cute! I hope I don’t offend anyone! If I read your blog, you want be offended! But I hate cluttered blogs. Boy, when I first setup mine, I had buttons and little gadgets galore!

Limit the clutter

the break in

Last night at 3am I was awoken to a scratching noise. Our master bedroom is off the kitchen on the main floor and all the boys are at a good distance away from me safely upstairs. I listened for a minute. You must understand I am slightly afraid of the dark. I literally run to the bathroom if I need to go at night!
heard it again. Thought, hoped, it was a cat or something. We actually had a cat sneak into our house before! Still going on. Was someone trying to steal my brand new washer!? I sat up. I considered waking Mr. Lamb, but figured my bedhead could scare any robbers away!

Still heard it. Got up, tip toed into the kitchen. Coming from the living room where front door is…was it the Reaper mad about my blogging about him?!

scratch, scratch, oh looky there, my laptop restarted and the printer decided to print what I printed and reprinted 5 times yesterday! Ugh! I am not happy with my wireless printer. It never prints until we restart the PC! any advice?

In the end, all is safe in Lamb Land, I darted back to bed, pulled the covers to my chin, and lay wide awake for an hour…Here’s what I was printing btw-at least before I ran out of black ink! stinkin’ cute!

And my friend Katie at Edu-Kate is having a great little giveaway from 100 followers Check it out!

off to lunch at the country club…oh lala…the in-laws are buyin!

Favorites from SOS: EVERYTHING...but in particular the Back to School bundle, Life Cycle of a Chicken, and the Guided Reading books-these babies are packed! Woo-Hoo!!
